WHAT THIS IS
Apocrypedia catalogs controversial and contested topics: conspiracy theories, fringe science, unexplained events. Each file lays out the claim, where it came from, the documented record from every side, and the full sources.
THE STANCE
We render no verdict. Each file splits into folders: a MAINSTREAM folder for the public record and a CONFIDENTIAL folder for the alternative explanations. Both get the same treatment, who proposed it, the reasoning, the evidence cited, the documented response, with citations you can check. The dossier styling is theatrical. The text underneath is neutral.
THE WISDOM OF THE CROWD
Each file carries an informal reader poll recording which explanation readers find most credible. It is reader opinion, labeled a poll, not data, and gameable like any open poll. It is not the position of Apocrypedia.
PRIVACY
No accounts. No tracking. No cookies. The vote endpoint stores aggregate counts only and logs no IP address or any other identifier. We technically cannot know who you are or how you voted.
